The Rose Bowl will induct Matt Leinart, the 2004 Heisman winner, into its Hall of Fame for the 2019 class, the Tournament of Roses announced today.
As a sophomore, Leinart was named the Rose Bowl Player of the Game while leading the Trojans to a national-title-clinching 28-14 victory over Michigan. He came back to Pasadena two years later, but USC fell to Texas, 41-38, in a classic one versus two battle.
The induction ceremony will take place on December 31 outside the Rose Bowl.
