Ever wonder what a Heisman ballot looked like in the early days of the award?
Pictured here is a ballot submitted by Stuart Cameron, the sports editor from the United Press International in 1937, the third year of the trophy’s existence.
He put running back and future Supreme Court justice Byron “Whizzer” White of Colorado at the top of his ballot, Clint Frank of Yale in second and Marshall Goldberg of Pittsburgh in third.
Frank would win the Heisman that year with 524 total points, while White took second with 284 points and Goldberg was third with 211 points.
