The Army – Navy game is one of the classic traditions in college football.

Seventy years ago, with World War II in the rear view mirror, the two teams met in one of the most-hyped games of all time. Army was 8-0 and ranked No. 1, while Navy was 7-0-1 and ranked No. 2. The Cadets featured Heisman Trophy winner Felix “Doc” Blanchard and future Heisman winner Glenn Davis, while Navy was led by end Dick Duden and halfback Clyde Scott.
