Long before Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel or Conan O’Brien, Johnny Carson ruled late night television as the host of NBC’s “The Tonight Show.”

One of Carson’s most underrated qualities was his knack for interviewing guests and making them feel at ease.

In today’s feature video, Carson — who attended the University of Nebraska — sits down with fellow Cornhusker Mike Rozier just four days after Rozier won the 1983 Heisman Trophy.
